I went to the post office to buy a recharge and they only asked me for a your phone number written in the "address" section.

The fee was 5RMB for 1000RMB bought - so 0.5%

Then I went back to my Mac, Firefox plug in not available, so had to use Safari browser, and downloaded the security plug-in and restart the computer before finishing the Alipay recharge final step - input password.

All worked, and I made my first Taobao purchase today! This web site is super useful! Thanks a bunch

I found a convenience store that offered 支付宝 (one of the alternatives to 网汇E) that was closer than the post office for me. Pay with 1% surcharge, enter phone number for SMS verification, done. No forms whatsoever. I'd highly recommend this to others as well.

I already set up my account, but as some other users said, I didn't put my email, only my cell phone!

Today I went to the Post Office near my house but they didn't offer the Wang Hui E service (it was quite a small office). So maybe this weekend I will try to recharge my Alipay account at a bigger office.

My chinese coleagues keep telling me they can buy for me, but what's the fun on that? I hope I can by everything by myself with this website's help!

Thank you!

Then easiest experience in China to get the "Wang hui E" (in comparison to going to the bank etc). The girl at the post office spoke a little english. There was no "postal business services" window so I just went to the one with the shortest line and it seemed to work. The form looked EXACTLY as above (as of 2011-12-09). She let me fill in the name and address in english characters. And a 300RMB charge only cost me 2RMB.

Today, I went to the post office and came home to charge my Taobao. It seems like they changed the processing fee?
The page says that each wanghui E has a max of 5000 each charge, with unlimited charges a day. It also says that the processing fee is 1%, with a minimum of 2 kuai and a max of 50 kuai, which is consistent with the 5000 kuai maximum per charge. I don't think this has reached the post offices yet, as I only had to pay the usual .5%.

HOWEVER, the sample image beside all this information has 1000rmb recharge with a 1 rmb fee. Thoroughly confused.
