If you are looking to buy something on Taobao, there is no better way to find it than by using Taobao Field Guide’s advanced Taobao Search panel (which is accessible on the home page). It is pretty self explanitory technology, but if you need a little primer on best practices, this will get you going.

First, type the thing you want translated in the translate box.

Click the Translate button.

Check it out! Now you’ve got your Chinese words.

Highlight the words.

You can either copy/paste, or just drag and drop them into the Search Taobao Box.

Click the button to search for it on Taobao!

A new window will pop up and the Search8 Technology will take over. Give it a second to think, then shop with a smile! If you want to use the search words to do a Search1, just run a Search8 first and then copy your search terms. When you get to the search results page, click the Taobao logo, and paste the words into the homepage’s search box.
